Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a recruitment body and was formed to recruit eligible candidates for public sector banks in India.

IBPS conducts 5 exams every year, 2 exams for probationary officers (P.O.), 2 for clerks and one for specialist officers.

IBPS governing body includes the Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of Finance Government of India, Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai, Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, National Institute of Bank Management, Indian Banks’ Association and the public sector banks.

IBPS Vacancy Eligibility Criteria:

The Graduation Degree from any recognized University by the Government of India. The Educational Qualification mentioned should be declared on or before 04.09.2018

Age Limit:-

Minimum – 20 years
Maximum – 30 years

Relaxation On Upper Limit:-
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years
PWD – 10 years
Ex-Servicemen – 5 years
Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir 5 years
Person Affected by 1984 riot – 5 years

Nationality/Citizenship:-
A. A Citizen of India or
B. A Subject of Nepal or
C. A Subject of Bhutan or
D. A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962 with the intention of permanent settlement or
E. Person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, with the intention of becoming the citizen of India. Candidates belonging to the category (ii), (iii), (iv) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India in their favour.

IBPS Vacancy Recruitment Application Fee:

  • ₹ 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • ₹ 600/- for all Others
