Satavahana Dynasty | Indian Dynasty Satvahana dynasty was founded by Simuka by killing the last Kanva ruler Sushma. Andhra Satavahanas established their capital in Maharashtra’s “Pratishthan”. Shatkarni performed Ashvamedha Yajna twice and Rajusya Yajna once.
The official language of Satvahanas was ‘Prakrit’.
