On the earth surface, 29% is land and 71% is water. The total area of the entire earth is 5100 million square kilometers. Pangea – Gondwana Land and Angaraland :

According to this theory, all the continents on Earth were interconnected, which were called “Pangaea” and the only one ocean was “Panthalassa”. The Tethys Sea was located in the center of Pangaea.  Its southern part was “Angaraland” and Peninsular India was part of “Gondwana Land“.
The current continent and the ocean were created due to the collapse of the Pangaea and the different forces of gravity and flotation.
